This is the first test post of the blog functionality. This page has gone through many phases before its posting and I'm sure it will go through many more. Open Mike was originally titled "Your Local Mike," and was set to be only a personal blog page. However, while I was coding it, I was also working on my first album. Now, Open Mike is a place for both sharing my music and blogging. I only hope that by the time the site goes live, I will soon after release an album, and the site is as simple yet functional as I want it to be
